Connect Loop to Cadence — API key and URL setup, subscription sync, and management features.

Loop is a subscription platform integration for Cadence. Connecting Loop enables subscription upsell predictions and (optionally) full Subscription Management through ConvertCart.

What Loop provides to Cadence

  • Subscription status — which customers already subscribe
  • Subscription plans — available subscribe-and-save options
  • Subscription management — full management capabilities including add/remove line items (when Subscription Management is enabled)

Connecting Loop

Go to Integrations → Loop in the Cadence app.

Loop requires two pieces of information:

  1. Click Connect
  2. In Loop: Settings → API — copy your API key
  3. Enter your API key in the Cadence connect modal
  4. Enter your API URL (e.g., https://api.loopsubscriptions.com)
  5. Click Connect

Both fields are required. The API URL is your store-specific Loop API endpoint.

API keys are encrypted at rest and never shown again after saving.

One subscription platform at a time

Only one subscription platform can be connected. Disconnect any other subscription platform before connecting Loop.

Required setup in Loop

No additional configuration in Loop is typically needed beyond connecting. Ensure you have:

  • Active subscription plans configured
  • API access enabled in Loop Settings

Cadence reads subscription data via the Loop API during the daily sync cycle.

Loop supports the full range of Subscription Management actions:

After connecting

Once connected:

  • Cadence syncs subscription data daily
  • Subscription upsell predictions generate for eligible one-time buyers
  • Existing subscribers are excluded from upsell predictions
  • Active subscription count appears on the Loop integration detail page

Subscription features activate after your store is enabled and the first sync completes.

Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
Connection fails Verify both API key and API URL are correct
API URL format Use the base URL (e.g., https://api.loopsubscriptions.com), not a specific endpoint
Subscription upsell not generating Confirm store is enabled; allow 24 hours for initial sync
Can’t connect — another platform active Disconnect the current subscription platform first
