Prediction analytics

Per-type analytics for replenishment, lapse prevention, cross-sell, and subscription predictions.

Prediction Analytics provides detailed performance metrics for each of Cadence’s four prediction types. Use these dashboards to understand which predictions drive the most revenue and where to focus optimization efforts.

Accessing prediction analytics

Go to Prediction Analytics in the Cadence app sidebar. You’ll see four cards — one for each prediction type:

Page Focus
Replenishment Customers due to reorder, conversion funnel, revenue trends
Lapse prevention At-risk customers, save rate, intervention outcomes
Cross-sell Product recommendations, top partners, conversion
Subscriptions Upsell eligibility, conversions, retention

Click any card to open the detailed analytics page for that prediction type.

Shared controls

All prediction analytics pages include:

  • Time period selector — Last 7, 30, or 90 days, or a custom date range (default: 30 days)
  • CSV export — Download table data for further analysis

Replenishment analytics

Tracks customers identified as due to reorder:

  • Customers due — count of customers with active replenishment predictions
  • Conversion funnel — predictions → events delivered → ConvertCart sessions → purchases
  • Revenue trends — replenishment-attributed revenue over time
  • Top products — which products drive the most replenishment revenue

What to look for: High customer counts with low conversion may indicate your replenishment email copy or ConvertCart experience needs improvement.

Lapse prevention analytics

Tracks customers at risk of churning:

  • At-risk customers — count of customers with active lapse predictions
  • Save rate — percentage of at-risk customers who purchased after receiving a lapse message
  • Intervention outcomes — breakdown of saved vs. lost customers
  • Revenue recovered — revenue from customers who returned after a lapse intervention

What to look for: Lapse prevention often has the highest per-customer revenue impact because these are existing customers who already trust your brand.

Cross-sell analytics

Tracks complementary product recommendations:

  • Recommendations made — count of cross-sell predictions generated
  • Top product pairs — which product combinations drive the most cross-sell conversions
  • Conversion rate — cross-sell predictions that led to purchases
  • Revenue — revenue from cross-sell ConvertCart purchases

What to look for: Review top product pairs to understand which cross-sell combinations resonate. Use pinned products to influence recommendations.

Subscription analytics

Tracks subscription upsell performance (requires a connected subscription platform):

  • Eligible customers — one-time buyers primed for subscription
  • Conversions — customers who subscribed after receiving an upsell message
  • Retention — how long converted subscribers stay active
  • Revenue — subscription revenue from upsell conversions

What to look for: Compare subscription conversion rates against your overall subscription signup rate to measure Cadence’s incremental impact.

Per-customer drill-down

From any prediction analytics page, you can drill into individual customer records to see their prediction history, event delivery status, and ConvertCart activity. Access this via the customer detail view at /customers/:id in the Cadence app.
